Old Gold midfielder latest Aussie export February 2012

CARMARTHEN Town midfielder Darren Griffiths is the latest Welsh Premier player to ply his trade in Australia, after leaving Richmond Park to join Moreland City in the Victoria Premier League.
The brother of Old Gold defender and captain Dale Griffiths, Darren was added to Llanelli's squad for the InterToto Cup ties with Vetra in 2007 having previously played with Welsh League outfits Pontardawe Town and West End.
He joined Carmarthen from Goytre United last August and has made 12 full and seven substitute appearances in the domestic league this season, scoring in the 4-2 away win at Airbus UK Broughton and a 3-1 home defeat at the hands of Port Talbot.
